BROKEN BISCUITS
the disabled animal charity.
Disabled Dog Centre
Space to run, space to roll.
Welcome to Hazel Meadows. Situated on 7 acres, 15 minutes from Lincoln, near Market Rasen.
Broken Biscuits currently operate a disabled animal sanctuary here, offering a safe home environment for 24 resident dogs and cats. Allowing them to live happy, mobile lives.
For a disabled dog, space for exercise is often limited, especially off lead. For a newbie, a fresh set of wheels can be quite intimidating. Especially if they are being asked to learn to ride on a high street pavement, or in a busy park.
At the Broken Biscuits Education & Rehab Centre dogs will be able to get used to their wheels in a controlled environment. With the freedom to run as much, or as little, as they are comfortable with. With access to veterinary professionals and experts in dog mobility, pet parents can learn how to set up and adjust their ‘bikes’, as well as get advice on their care and well being.
The Centre will include undercover areas where dogs can be exercised regardless of the weather, and provide comfortable settings for consultations and seminars. Outside we are building the world’s first Disabled Doggie Skate Park, where wheelie dogs can hone their skills on our race track, and ramps and hills. At our Doggie Driving School their parents can obtain the knowledge and skills to make best use of their kit.
